About Us

Our Mission

At Health In Habit, we are dedicated to empowering adults to thrive as they age.

We believe aging is a journey of growth and fulfillment, not decline. We challenge the status quo by promoting a positive aging mindset and empowering older adults to live with vitality, purpose, and independence. Our mission is to inspire action and support the choices that allow people to age with confidence and control. By cultivating lifestyles that prioritize holistic well-being and creating environments that are functional and beautiful, we ensure that health is within reach at every stage of life.

As an occupational therapist with extensive experience working with older adults, I have witnessed the challenges that can come with aging and the inaccessibility of traditional homes.

Our goal is to listen, assess your unique situation, and provide personalized recommendations that prioritize safety, functionality, and beauty in the home.

Our guidance allows our clients to maintain their independence and well-being and reduces the stress and worry of family and caregivers.

By prioritizing proactive, preventative measures, we enable older adults to take charge of their own aging journey and have agency in aging.

Why Choose Us

Our approach provides compassionate and personalized support that appreciates the complexity of every person’s situation.

We pride ourselves on collaborating with our clients to develop personalized solutions that align with your goals.

Our recommendations for home modifications consider your unique needs and preferences. We take into account return on investment and the resale value of your home. We prioritize beautiful design because homes shouldn’t look like hospitals.

We provide short and long-term recommendations based on your current situation to help you decide which needs are low and high priority. It’s always best to proactively plan ahead but we understand life happens. We are here to support you or your family member to address immediate needs from a recent injury, surgery, or hospitalization, or to optimize the home environment with the consideration of a progressive health condition.

I have extensive clinical experience as an OT in home health, short term rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, and long term care. I also have specialty training from the National Association of Home Builders as a Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS), and am a graduate of the Executive Certificate in Home Modifications (ECHM) program through the University of Southern California School of Gerontology.
